Nest accommodates up to 12 children from 3 months to 18 months.
Nest has an intimate, cherishing atmosphere simply bursting with hugs and cuddles.
We have created a calm and natural environment which supports curiosity and fascination from a young age.
We love spending time in our small individual baby garden which we access directly from the room.
In Nest we are able to accommodate and support each child with an emphasis on individual routines.
The children are encouraged to learn through play and are offered a whole host of opportunities to explore through a wide variety of exciting (and sometimes extremely messy!) experiences.
It is always fun going for weekly walks out in to the local community in our nursery triple buggies.
Burrow accommodates up to 16 children from 18 months to 30 months.
In Burrow we promote independence and support and encourage the children to make positive choices.
Burrow is a large spacious room with all resources accessible and at a child-friendly height.
We love activity times, especially cooking with support from our lovely nursery Cook.
We are able to free flow between the room and our own dedicated small garden.
Den we are all about developing independence! We have a large expressive arts and design area with a wide range of pre writing tools always available to us.
We enjoy child-led experiences throughout the day within an environment which is constantly adapted to engage our interests.
We have our own en suite toilets to support potty training!
In Den we start to access a wide range of extra-curricular activities and we start our weekly visits to Forest School.
During their time in The Den we aim to put all the small steps in place to support children to become secure, happy, keen and confident learner
Lodge accommodates 18 children, most of whom are in their pre-school year prior to Reception.
In Lodge we receive comprehensive support with getting ready for our next chapter at Big School! Our independent self-care skills are promoted and encouraged and we enjoy serving ourselves at meal times.
Our experienced qualified Pre-school Teacher helps us with all aspects of learning with a special focus on literacy and numeracy – we have a full range of literature to support our communication skills and letter recognition and we enjoy full exposure to letters and sounds in preparation for phonics.
Our regular Forest School Expeditions are a weekly highlight!
At Red Balloon we believe children flourish in fresh air so we endeavour to spend as much time as possible outside involving both structured activities and free play.
Our garden offers a host of toddler-friendly activities including sand and water play, climbing, bikes & trikes and a growing area for budding young gardeners.
All rooms enjoy direct access to sectioned outdoor areas enabling all children to have plenty of opportunity to expend some of their boundless energy.
